LEEP positive outer margin

Focally positive ectocervical margin after LEEP but then had a normal follow-up I had a LEEP in Nov 2025. My endocervical (inner) margin was negative, but the ectocervical (outer) margin was focally positive, meaning abnormal cells were found at the cut edge, but only in a small/localized area rather than extensively along the margin. My doctor said she removed additional tissue beyond the specimen, so it was possible she still got everything. At my 6-month follow-up in May, my Pap was normal and HPV was negative 🙏 Has anyone had a similar experience? What happened at your next follow-up?
