I'm absolutely dreading and procrastinating getting my annual pap this year. I have trauma around the topic of fertility and pregnancy, and I'm terrified that the doctor will bring this up to me. I just want to get the general health and cancer screenings only, is it possible? Not intending to get pregnant, and don't want to hear anything about it. I've also previously dealt with persistent hpv for many years and had cervical pre-cancer. Every year has been more bad news, more scraping and prodding and burning off cells.
