Home Doppler 10wk5d: Can't find heartbeat. Could this be it? Could left position make it more difficult to find?

36F, 10 weeks, 5 days pregnant. My doppler picks up my heartbeat extremely loud. I'm very early in my pregnancy and a bit overweight so it's difficult, but due to a history of reoccurrent miscarriage I bought a doppler hoping for peace of mind. I hear a lot of whooshing and now and then heard a muffled rhythm *behind* my own heartbeat, as you may be able to hear in the video. I used a tap app to count the rhythm and it seemed to be 150-160bpm. I'm wondering if that is likely just another echo from my HR or bloodflow or if it sounds like it could be the baby's heartbeat? My baby is on my left side and at this stage probably still in my pelvis so I'm also wondering if that positioning is why I'm struggling to find it. Thanks for any information. submitted by /u/RavenMarvel [link] [comments]
