Sorry for the photo but I am desperate for any kind of help or advice. On the second slide I circled my current tear so you can see it better. So Im a 23 f with PCOS experiencing 2.5 years of yeast infections, BV, and ureaplasma infections. The onset came after i had an IUD put in, (the month prior I had a yeast infection but I’m not sure if it cleared completely before the insertion). Since then, I’ve tried many different treatment courses and lifestyle changes. And I did have the IUD removed 4 months ago. But I still can’t get rid of the infections. Since the beginning of the infections, I’ve been experiencing irritation and had mild symptoms. But for the last 6 months the symptoms have now increased and severely worsened, and I’ve even developed new symptoms. I now experience extreme irritation, persistent dryness, burning, stinging, numbness, deep pelvic pain, increased urination, pain with sex, intense itching, and have started getting little tears near the top of my vagina and near the vaginal opening. I’m wondering if there is an underlying or separate issue happening here (like a skin condition maybe? I do have eczema on my hands and elbows) or is it all just from the chronic infections?
