Uterine Atony

By

Hi - Looking for advice from OBs and anyone who has been through this. I was induced on suspicion of a large baby. I had cytotec and pitocin to induce labor. I started Monday night and due to a decel with the baby on Wednesday afternoon, decided to proceed with a c section. Baby came out perfect but my uterus would not contract. As such they had to put me to sleep and perform a UAE to stop the bleeding using gel foam to pause the bleeding for a couple of weeks. Traumatized but also so grateful to still have my uterus. Has anyone gone on to have a healthy pregnancy after this? I’m so afraid of placenta accreta due to the trauma in my uterus. Thank you submitted by /u/travelingtoads [link] [comments]
