Repost- my apologies in advance for the a long post- there's a lot of medical history to unpack. Skip down to "*" for the actual question(s) History: 23yr/o virgin with a history of s/a as a toddler. I had digestive issues growing up which led to constant stomach aches, so when I was 18 and I began having abdominal pain the doctor ignored it. A few more months later I started having sharp stabbing pain in the pelvic area and peeing hurt so bad I wanted to cry. Figured it was a UTI and went to my primary who ordered labs- labs came back normal. Pain continued, my periods and PMS started getting worse, so I begged the DR to order an ultrasound... she ordered the wrong type (upper abdominal), and at every subsequent appointment would ignore my complaints of ongoing pain "down there". After a year, I finally went to a different doctor who ordered a CT and found 2 simple cysts measuring 2.3cm and 2.5cm on both ovaries (4 total). My primary got mad I went to another DR and asked why I didn't tell her about the pain... I got a follow-up ultrasound 2mos later where they only saw 2 cysts but didn't give me much information as to size. Fast forward to now: this issue has been ongoing for about 3-4yrs, and the pain is slowly getting worse. My PMS is terrible (CONSTANT fatigue and discomfort), along with random sharp debilitating pain. I also can't stand for long periods because of the pain and will get nauseous if I do. I just had another ultrasound and the results showed a 2.3cm simple cyst on the right and a 5.9cm complex hemorrhagic cyst on the left- both have normal arterial and venous doppler flow. Endometrium is 1.4cm. My labs were mostly all normal, including my hormone panel (done last year), but I'm also being treated for UCTD so they found out my ANA, Rhumatoid factor and Sjorjen's-A levels were high.... the latter was really high (normal values 240.
